Residential Field Trips

Residential Field Trips

RGS Vietnam students join a wide range of trips annually that bring classroom studies to life, broaden students’ horizons and improve their skills and knowledge.

The Annual Residential trip is a compulsory part of our school programmes and the costs to fund these trips will be paid by parents depending on the year’s costs. The trip consists typically of 3 days and 2 nights at various locations, promoting students’ independence, organisational skills, and academics and life skills.

Reigate Grammar School Vietnam cooperates with The Learning Project to arrange annual trips for students from Year 6 to Year 13. Each trip is designed to motivate students to be active global citizens through team adventures and service projects in Vietnam.

The residential trips take students to natural conservation areas, famous tourism destinations, highland mountains, etc. with the aim of engaging students in the natural environment and outdoor activities, such as Cuc Phuong, Mai Chau, Ba Vi, Sapa, and Cat Ba.

Trips to Cuc Phuong and Ba Vi contribute to Goal 11, 13 and 15 of the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN: enhance inclusivity through cultural awareness, take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts and halt biodiversity loss through rehabilitation of endangered species in Vietnam.

It has become an integrated core of Reigate Grammar School Vietnam and helps students be ready for an independent life at University. The trip is not only enjoyable but full of educational activities and is extremely popular and always looked forward to by our students.
