Duathlon

RGS Vietnam Duathlon programme was created to expand opportunities in the sport for young athletes aged 10-18, and grow a duathlon club at school level.

Since the commencement of the programme, RGS Vietnam has seen much improvement in our competitors, where they compete annually in Singapore with the MetaSprint organisation.

This programme is offered for our Y5 to Y13 students. The program provides our upper elementary and secondary school competitors with international team competing opportunities that would not otherwise exist, while helping foster the passion so many young competitors have for the sport.

Duathlon training at RGS Vietnam commences in August and flows through until April, when the actual duathlon occurs. The training does require a student to successfully swim and run a timed distance to be selected for the RGS Vietnam Duathlon Team.
