At RGSV we firmly believe that the child’s happiness is of the utmost importance.
The pupils and their wellbeing are at the heart of every decision we make, of every lesson plan we deliver, and of every development in the School. The transition from the primary sector to the secondary sector can pose challenges and create anxiety.
At RGSV we understand how important it is to show our care, empathy and understanding to each and every child to ensure a smooth transition and to enable them to lead a happy and fulfilling life. We realise that each child is an individual with their own personal character, with differing strengths and challenges, and as far as possible, we will tailor the curriculum to their individual needs. We will never give up or stop caring, from the moment that they walk through the door on their first day to when they leave in the Upper Sixth to go out into the world beyond.
Our teachers will go the extra mile, not just for one child but for all, not just once, but again and again for as long as it is needed.
