Seesaw
Seesaw is a simple way for teachers and students to record and share what's happening in the classroom, for the whole class group, for a specific part of the school community. It enables parents to connect to the classroom and their child's learning in 'real time' and allows parents to participate, e.g., by commenting on the selections of tasks posted.
Seesaw also gives students a place to document their individual learning, be creative, and offer students an opportunity to learn how to use technology purposely.
When entering RGSV-Preparatory, each student will be given a journal that will become their portfolio. They will build their portfolios to document their learning for the year, adding photos, videos, audio, drawings, reflections, or notes. These portfolios will present a digital journey of each student’s learning and build from year to year as our students proceed through the school. These comprehensive e-portfolios are easily accessible to teachers, students and families and accompany our students’ semester reports to build a complete learning record while in the Preparatory School section.
