President of AIESEC at UNSW visited RGS Vietnam and had a sharing session with 6th Form students

Ann Mai is a domestic UNSW Sydney student and the Local Committee President of AIESEC in UNSW, a branch of the global youth leadership development organization. During her break, Ann Mai returned to her home country to visit family. On this occasion, she had the opportunity to accompany Minh Anh Doan - a RGSV alumni who’s currently studying at the University of Sydney - to visit Reigate Grammar School Vietnam. They spent time interacting and sharing experiences with our sixth form students. about studying and living in Australia. The stories of these two special guests are evidence of the strong interest and connection within the international student community.

In their sharing session, both Ann Mai and Minh Anh provided RGSV students with a comprehensive overview of the diversified activities and movements for students when pursuing higher education in Australia. They also share some tips for stepping out of the comfort zone and truly integrating into the international learning environment. Ann emphasized that participating in student activities and movements is an opportunity to gain more experiences, making their university life richer and more memorable. This is also a way to make the integration process of international students more natural and easier. Confidence, presentation skills, and leadership abilities are qualities you have developed in just one year of participating in student activities. The final-year students of Reigate Grammar School Vietnam were very enthusiastic about your sharing session and had interesting and informative moments during the exchange.

RGSV would like to thank Ann Mai and Minh Anh - two special speakers who took the time to interact and discuss with our students. Wishing you success in your studies and life in beautiful Australia.
