RGSV students shine in Global Chemistry Challenge – ICQ 2025!

Reigate Grammar School Vietnam proudly participated with excellent results in the International Chemistry Quiz (ICQ) :

Nam Le Dang Nhat – Certificate of Distinction (Top 30% globally)

Chau Le Nguyen – Certificate of Credit (Top 50% globally)

Ha Anh Nguyen – Certificate of Credit (Top 50% globally)

The International Chemistry Quiz (ICQ) is an elite academic challenge hosted by the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) - a leading scientific institution established in 1917, dedicated to advancing the field of chemistry globally. Launched in 1982, ICQ has become one of the world’s largest chemistry competitions, with over 100,000 participants annually from across 32 countries in 2025.

Vietnam’s participation surged by 46% this year - a testament to growing interest and academic ambition. With thousands more students entering from Vietnam alone, grade boundaries have become steeper, making it increasingly difficult to secure even a Credit or Distinction. Achieving these awards is now a clear indicator of advanced critical thinking and chemistry mastery on a global stage.
