RGSV’s PYP Exhibition and Open Learning Afternoon
RGSV’s PYP Exhibition and Open Learning Afternoon offered a powerful celebration of student voice, inquiry, and action—an inspiring showcase of what it truly means to be a PYP learner.
Our RGSV PYP Exhibition was a resounding success and a powerful celebration of student inquiry, creativity, and agency. From the inspiring opening ceremony with our Prep School on Wednesday, to welcoming our parents and esteemed guests today, every moment reflected the thoughtful planning, precision, and pride we bring to our teaching and learning. At RGSV, we set ambitious standards, and this year’s exhibition was a shining example of the passion, dedication, and collaborative spirit that define our school. The work on display not only highlighted our students’ depth of understanding and personal growth but also demonstrated the strength of the PYP in action.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible teachers, Mr. Ryan, Mr. Chris, and Ms. Nhi, for their guidance and commitment, and to our invaluable support team, Ms. Jackie, Ms. Lan Chi, and Mr. Daniel, for ensuring every detail was considered. To everyone who played a role in bringing this event to life, your efforts have resulted in something we can all be proud of. Congratulations on a truly memorable and meaningful exhibition.
Open Learning Afternoon
Building on the success of our PYPX, our RGSV Open Afternoon was a fantastic celebration of student learning, where students from Years 2 to 5 proudly showcased their Unit of Inquiry, 'Sharing the Planet'. Each class created its own version of a PYP-style exhibition, allowing students to share their research, thinking, and action with families and visitors. As we moved from classroom to classroom, it was inspiring to see the clear learning progression, how ideas and skills deepen and grow from Year 2 right through to the powerful Year 6 Exhibition. The afternoon highlighted not only the students' knowledge and creativity but also the strength of the PYP framework at RGSV in nurturing inquiry, agency, and global awareness at every stage.
To all the parents who joined us in support of our students today, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude.
