RGSV MUN 2021

During the winter break, from 5-7th January, the Model United Nations organizing committee has successfully hosted our school's 2nd Model United Nations conference, this year virtually. The Model United Nations is an educational simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations.

This year’s conference welcomed 40 students from RGSV as well as other public, private and international schools across Hanoi to debate about pressing global issues. These include the socio-economic inclusion of refugees in the UNHCR committee, the problem of ‌‌sustainable‌ ‌cultural‌ ‌tourism‌ in the UNWTO committee, the issue of national immunization in the WHO committee and gender representation in Disney fantasy committee. The conference has allowed students to develop their skills in diplomacy, international relations, as well as, connecting with students across the city to develop their open-mindedness.
