RGSV Lunar Festival 2025
Last weekend, the RGSV Lunar Festival 2025 unfolded successfully, creating a vibrant atmosphere brimming with the flavors and sounds of traditional Vietnamese Tet New Year. The festival featured a delightful array of traditional food stalls, offering quintessential Tet treats like Banh chung, Mut Tet, and Vietnamese tea, providing attendees with a rich culinary experience. Furthermore, teachers at the school skillfully recreated beloved folk games such as jump rope, bamboo dancing, can throwing, mandarin square capturing of O-an-quan, bamboo jacks and blindfolded pot smashing, alongside calligraphy stations. These activities captivated the enthusiastic participation of students, allowing them to explore and experience the unique and community-oriented folk culture of Vietnam.
The highlight of the festival was undoubtedly the Spring Celebration Performance, featuring talented students showcasing their dance and singing skills. Performances on traditional musical instruments accompanied lively New Year songs, expressing pride, love for their homeland, and respect for Vietnamese cultural identity.
Happy New Year 2025! Wishing everyone a year filled with joy, success, and peace.
