RGSV Explores Future Of Art And Music With Delegation From The University Of Nebraska-Lincoln
On Friday 21 March, 2025, Reigate Grammar School Vietnam (RGSV) had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for a fascinating talk on "The Future of Art and Music in the Digital Era." Secondary students from Years 8 to 13 joined in a lively discussion about how technology is changing the creative industries.
With all the rapid innovation these days, students are thinking hard about how their art and music studies will fit into the future. They're keen to know how to keep their passion alive while building solid careers. This workshop gave them some great advice and insights, helping them understand the link between creativity and technology.
We were thrilled to host the Dean of the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts and Directors from the Music and Theatre Schools at Nebraska. They talked about the skills artists and musicians need, the impact of technology on creativity, and opportunities for international students in US arts programmes. Students got a real sense of how to succeed in the digital age.
This event reinforced our commitment to helping students explore different career options. Thanks to our brilliant speakers and all the students who joined in with such enthusiasm!
