RGSV Class of 2025 Leaving Ceremony
On the evening of Friday, 6th June 2025, a solemn and deeply emotional Leaving Ceremony took place in the RGSV auditorium, marking a significant milestone in the journey of our Year 13 students – the Class of 2025. Dressed in their graduation gowns, each student stepped onto the stage, officially closing the chapter of 12 years of schooling and preparing to embark on a new and exciting path ahead.
This academic year was especially memorable as it marked a historic moment: the first cohort of RGSV students to complete the A Level programme alongside their peers in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). This achievement is not only a testament to their outstanding academic performance but also a reflection of their relentless dedication, ambition, and resilience – the hallmarks of RGSV students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Headmaster Patrick Glennon emphasised: “This cohort has not only excelled academically but has also played a vital role in shaping the identity of RGSV. Many students in the Class of 2025 have witnessed the school’s transformation from ISV to RGSV, and the journey to becoming the only school in Hanoi accredited by COBIS. Their achievements in academics, sports, music, social engagement, and their dedication to the Student Council have all contributed to a proud generation of Reigatians.”
Behind every success lies the quiet yet indispensable support of parents, teachers, and the entire school staff. A heartfelt thank you goes especially to our teachers – the devoted and patient “guiding hands” who have stood by our students and inspired them through every lesson.
To our beloved Year 13 students: thank you for being intelligent, compassionate, and ambitious Reigatians. As the Headmaster so meaningfully reminded us: “Take what you have learned at RGSV, step into the world, and help build a better one. RGSV will always be your home.”
Wishing you steady steps and confidence as you walk into the future!
