RGS Vietnam Swimmers Compete in Goyang National Swimming Competition

The Goyang National Swimming Competition took place on August 19-20, 2023, in Gyeonggi province, South Korea. This highly anticipated event brought together hundreds of athletes of all ages and abilities to compete against each other in various swimming disciplines.

The competition was held at the Goyang Indoor Swimming Pool, which provided a state-of-the-art facility for the swimmers to showcase their abilities. The pool was equipped with top-notch technology and met international standards, ensuring a fair and competitive environment for all participants.

Swimmers from different regions and clubs, including a group of swimmers from RGS Vietnam, participated in the competition. They represented their respective teams with pride and determination. Seven swimmers from RGS Vietnam, JaeWan Jo (Year 11), Tae Hwi Min and Lucas de Gracia (Year 10), Tue Anh Thai and Dongyun Kim (Year 9), Trieu Tuong Thai and Sungyu Kim (Year 8 ), trained all summer long in preparation for this big event. They were full of excitement and anticipation, not knowing anything about the other swimmers.

On the day of the event, they all did their best and bagged several medals. They all displayed incredible speed, agility, and endurance as they raced towards the finish line.

The competition was not only about individual achievements, but also about team spirit and camaraderie.
