RGS Vietnam students raised funds to support Operation Smile

At the Winter Bazaar last December, students of RGS Vietnam LOTE Korean class had opened a fundraising booth for Operation Smile organization - a non-profit medical organization with the mission of providing surgeries as well as surgical support for children with cleft lips and palates worldwide. With their excellent work, diligence and teamwork spirit, our students ran the stall very successfully and decided to donate all profits earned to Operation Smile to help needed children.

Supporting the mission of the organization, with the desire to raise community awareness and be more sympathetic to disadvantaged children, the RGSV students hand-delivered the funds raised to the organization. Representatives of Operation Smile organization came to RGS Vietnam to meet the students and awarded fundraising certificates, recognizing their efforts and kindness.

These seemingly small but extremely meaningful activities contribute to helping students nurture compassion and a proper awareness of responsibility to the community. RGS Vietnam is very proud of the students for their humane and good actions, worthy of being responsible global citizens in the future.
