[RECAP] RGSV Open Day – Discovering A World Class Learning Environtment

On March 8, 2025, RGSV’s Open Day took place with great excitement, welcoming a large number of parents and students from Early Years to Year 12. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for families to explore RGSV’s learning environment, meet our dedicated teachers, and receive in-depth admissions consultations.

The event commenced with an inspiring welcome speech by our Headmaster, Mr. Patrick. He introduced the core values of RGSV, built upon four fundamental pillars: Academics, Sports, Arts, and Music. He also highlighted the prestigious partnership between RGSV and RGS UK, emphasizing the international standards and excellence embedded in our curriculum.

One of the event’s highlights was the inspiring speech from our Prefects – outstanding RGSV students, who shared their learning experiences. They spoke about how RGSV has equipped them with a strong academic foundation and the confidence to face future challenges, all within a high-quality international learning environment.

Following this, the Heads of Preparatory and Secondary School led parents on an exclusive campus tour, where they experienced firsthand the dynamic learning spaces at RGSV:

• Art classes, where creativity knows no bounds.
• Sports activities, full of energy and excitement.
• Music sessions, allowing visitors to try out different instruments in our state-of-the-art music hall.
• Computer Science classes, where students explored cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR) technology for an immersive digital experience
• Science experiments, offering hands-on and engaging discoveries.

The event concluded with a detailed consultation, where parents received insights into RGSV’s curriculum, enrollment process, and most excitingly, prestigious scholarship opportunities for outstanding students.

The Open Day not only provided a comprehensive view of RGSV but also reinforced the school’s mission to create a world-class educational environment—a place where every student can flourish and reach their full potential.
