PYP Swimming Gala, May 23rd 2022

Swimming caps adorned, pupils from Grade 1 (Year 2) to Grade 5 (Year 6) eagerly and nervously lined up in their classes ready to prove themselves in the water, and to cheer on their team in their swimming gala held on Monday, May 22nd.

The Swim Gala is an annual event organised by the Department of Physical Education with the aim of improving health, harnessing the children's competitive nature, and unleashing a wave of sporting spirit. Even before the Gala began in earnest, the pool area was already packed with students and teachers alike, all ready to cheer for their friends, classmates and housemates. The swimmers all tried their best and there were some amazing feats of athleticism displayed, all of which also gained valuable points for their House.

Well done to every single student who showed great effort, contributing to a successful Gala!
