PYP Parents Workshop, October 23rd 2020

Another successful PYP Parents Workshop was presented on October 23rd, where parents were given an overview of text types. Throughout levels from Pre-K to Grade 5, ISV uses 8 different text types, which assist with learning how to read and write for a specific purpose.

PYP Parents talked and did some exercises about each text type, as well as how to apply those text types in real-life situations with their children. As a result, parents can better understand their child’s studying at ISV, and figure out effective communication methods with the kids.

The workshop gave PYP parents the chance to share with each other about parenting experiences, and, at the same time, to have a clearer vision of ISV’s education.
