Panthers – Courage that defines champions!

From October 3rd to 5th, the PANTHERS Volleyball Team proudly represented Reigate Grammar School Vietnam (RGSV) at the VISA Tournament, hosted by the Canadian International School (CIS) in Ho Chi Minh City – a prestigious event that brings together strong teams from international schools across the country.

Though competing with a small roster, limited members, and several key players injured, our PANTHERS displayed incredible resilience, determination, and never-give-up spirit, creating a truly inspiring and unforgettable journey!

🔥On October 4th, the Boys’ Team secured one win and one loss, while the Girls’ Team played with great effort and energy against strong opponents.

🔥On October 5th, the Boys’ Team faced St. Paul American School Hanoi (SPASH) in the semi-final, pulling off an impressive comeback victory with powerful spikes, outstanding saves, and fierce team spirit to win 2–1 and advance to the final!

🔥In the final match against Quality Schools International of Haiphong (QSI), the PANTHERS maintained their confidence, teamwork, and determination to claim another 2–1 victory, proudly becoming the VISA 2025–2026 CHAMPIONS! 🏆

In the Girls’ Division, the PANTHERS fought with heart and dedication, finishing 6th overall after their final match against Hoi An International School (HAIS). Although the results were not as expected, the team’s unity and spirit made everyone proud. ❤️

Beyond the trophies and results, what matters most is the sportsmanship, teamwork, and unwavering spirit that our PANTHERS demonstrated throughout the tournament. This experience has been not only a valuable opportunity for learning and growth, but also a testament to the strength, unity, and remarkable progress of RGSV athletes!
