New Primary Parents Meeting
On Monday 21st August, new parents of RGS Vietnam Primary school were invited to join a meeting with Mr. Brendan Finn, Head of Primary and Ms. Nikki Farrar, PYP Coordinator. Mr. Brendan had given a thorough overview of how the Primary school works, what will their children learn and how RGS Vietnam will support pupils in both academic and non-academic aspects. Ms. Nikki also shared how pupils were assisted throughout classes and subjects and how parents can contribute to helping children study.
New parents had the chance to get to know this year's Head of Primary and other staff of the Primary department who work in supporting their children, and were welcomed to ask questions regarding their child's learning. RGS Vietnam always encourages parents to engage in the pupils' school life, as well as to inquire about anything they need to know. The synergy between the school and parents is one of the factors that determine pupils' success in learning, hence RGS Vietnam is always willing to listen and arrange meetings with parents to strengthen communications between both parties.
In the end, new parents had a sufficient vision on how primary pupils study and participate in various activities, to develop all skills and prepare themselves for the challenges of the future. RGS Vietnam appreciates their time and effort in getting to know their children's school life, and vows to do our best to support pupils in their time studying at our school.
