Mr Shaun Fenton – RGS Headmaster Concludes His Visit To Vietnam

On Friday, October 18, 2024, Mr. Shaun Fenton, Headmaster of Reigate Grammar School (RGS) UK, concluded a successful visit to Reigate Grammar School Vietnam. The trip was part of RGS's 350th-anniversary project, "The Changing Lives, Building Futures," which aims to foster relationships between students across the RGS Global Village and promote opportunities for cultural exchange and enrichment.

During his visit, Mr. Fenton had a busy schedule. He attended classes, participated in the school's sports day, conducted a reading session with Year 6 students, addressed secondary and sixth-form students in an assembly, joined a luncheon with secondary students, led a training session for local staff, and officially opened the school's new auditorium.

The state-of-the-art auditorium is a testament to the unwavering support and investment of RGS Vietnam. It signifies a tangible commitment to providing students with a world-class educational experience that aligns with the highest standards of British education.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Mr. Markus Winsley, Charge d'Affaires at the UK Embassy in Hanoi, a representative from the Ministry of Education and Training, and guest musicians from the Lincoln Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska (USA).

In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Fenton praised the enthusiasm, dedication, and talent of the students and staff at Reigate Grammar School Vietnam. The visit not only solidified the schools' commitment to a strong partnership but also reaffirmed the power of community to achieve great things.
