The International School of Vietnam (ISV) is happy to announce that we will be holding our annual Lunar Festival 2019 (previously known as Tet Market) on Saturday 26th January 2019, from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. With the aim of promoting not only Vietnamese culture to the international community but also cultures of other countries celebrating Lunar New Year, Lunar Festival 2019 promises to be an exciting event for all families' members to:
  • Experience the beautiful and ingenious Japanese art of Furoshiki, learn about the traditional and Eco friendly way of wrapping an object for many uses.
  • Dress-up in a Traditional Korean Hanbok and experience how this elegant dress embraces the natural harmony of form, structure and color.
  • Make your own making Vietnamese traditional sticky rice - Bánh Chưng Bánh Dày
Joining the celebration, visitors can also participate in other fun and educational activities such as clay statue painting, face painting, plinko, Bet your luck, Yunnori, Tuho etc. Additionally, boutiques such as CraftLink, Quilts & Art, Onwool, Harifa… will be selling traditional crafts, natural handmade cosmetics, organic products, charming clothing etc. Get ready for a truly memorable experience of celebrating Lunar New Year!
