ISV vs TH School Boys Varsity Basketball

November 6, 2018, led by team Captain Sky Sung and young Duy Duc Cao, the ISV Boys Varsity Basketball team was able to get their first victory in school history! This was a long time coming for the school but most importantly for the boys who have given a lot for this moment. We had a total of 4 different scorers, Duc Anh (4pts), Tuan (2pts), Sky (8pts), and Duy ( 20pts). Defensive rebounds were also a big part as we were able to get them at the right moment. Most importantly, we were able to capitalize on moments when it mattered the most. With lady luck smiling down on us, and a crowd of ISV students and staff watching with nervousness in their stomachs, we got a late foul call and Sky Sung was able to sink 1 of 2 free-throws to give us a 36-35 lead. Missing the second of the two free-throws the other team was able to get a defensive rebound and with less than 10seconds left, TH School headed towards our side of the court. AS time dwindled, they attempted a shot which ringed off the rim and muscling-up both Ted and Max were able to bring down the rebound and held on through the small scrap for the ball that ensued, that saw the time chime 0:00 and the whistle blow for a Team WIN!
