ISV is officially recognised as a candidate for IB Middle Years Programme

ISV is an IB World School, being authorised to teach the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) since 2016 and the IB Diploma Programme (DP) since 2018. The foundation of our curriculum is developed in a way to encourage students to combine their framework of knowledge and skills.

We are pleased to announce that ISV has officially been recognised as a candidate school for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) from May 2020.

After our hard effort and hours of learning and development, ISV is officially moving to the candidate phase in achieving the permission to apply for the MYP. We will work through the authorisation process with the IB to be able to open our MYP at the earliest stage and become a full IB continuum school.

The MYP is a programme designated for Secondary school-aged students. Students who go through the educational experience of the MYP are equipped with making practical connections between their academic studies and the real world.  We hope this makes them more likely to become critical and creative thinkers but also a life-long learner. Along with the IB PYP and DP offered at ISV, our students would receive the best education system and be well prepared for continuing to pursue higher education.
