Author Talk with Grade 6 (Year 7)

On June 9, all three grade 6 classes participated in a Zoom call with Mr. Jack Cheng, the author of "See You in the Cosmos." During their unit about realistic fiction, students in 6th grade were able to choose a book to read and about 1/3 of them read "See You in the Cosmos." They asked Mr. Cheng questions about the book, his life, and for advice to become a writer.

The students were attentive, energetic, and they asked excellent questions. Mr. Cheng hopes this talk inspires them to work hard in classes and potentially pursue a career in writing.
